ABC orders Mr. & Mrs. Smith pilot
Yes, that Mr. & Mrs Smith. ABC has ordered up a pilot written by the writer of the high grossing Mr. & Mrs. Smith movie, which would follow the lives of the husband and wife duo beginning about six months after the movie ends.
The movie starred Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, and it is rumored the pair started their hot and torrid affair while filming the movie… and while Brad was married to Jennifer Aniston. So the movie got huge buzz because of it.
I must admit, I did enjoy the movie despite the whole hating-Brad-for-what-they-did-to-Jennifer thing. So I will definitely check this one out if/when it hits the small screen as well.
The pilot, written by Simon Kinberg, will be an hour-long show, and is rumored to be dealing more with marriage issues rather than lets-go-assassinate-people that the movie had.
No word on who they are tapping for the two main roles, not when production might start.
